I love adding hemps seeds on top of my salads but making it into a salad dressing is next level! The texture is creamy and it has a nutty falvour. It kind of reminds of a caesar salad dressing.
WHY I LOVE HEMP SEEDS
- Are Packed with protein
- Contain a great amount of Omega 3 fatty acids – just 2 tablespoons a day is a sufficient amount to get your omega 3 fix
- Contain mineral such as iron, zinc and magnesium
- Are High in fiber
- Are great source of healthy fat

Hemp Seeds Salad Dressing
- 1 cup hemp seeds
- ¾ cup water
- 4 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1 tso lemon zest
- Juice of a medium lemon
- ½ tsp sea salt
Add all the ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth.
Adjust the salt to taste. Transfer into a clean mason jar with secure lid. Let chill in the fridge for 15 minutes to thicken.
Before serving shake to mix.
Dressing will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
